Survive the Menopause
How my Kickstart Programme can help peri-menopausal and menopausal women.
Between the ages of 45 and 55, a woman’s body often starts to behave differently. Hormonal fluctuations can contribute to a number of physical and mental symptoms, some of which can be quite severe and have a significant impact on everyday activities.
The question is, can you do anything about it? And the answer is unequivocally yes.
As well as hormone replacement therapy, simple lifestyle changes like a more nutritional diet, regular exercise and breath work can greatly help to reduce the severity of menopausal symptoms, improve mood and quality of life.
The great majority of my clients are women in their 40s and 50s, many of whom were unaware that their symptoms were caused by hormonal changes and, more worryingly, ignorant of the numerous remedies available.
In the last six years, I have helped a lot of these women to change their lifestyle and put the fear of menopause behind them.
I work with each client on a one-to-one basis, first deciding on the best approach—either to follow a holistic route with me, or by seeking the help of one of the medical professionals I collaborate with in this sector.
My approach is to focus on the lifestyle changes that can make a difference. Stabilising the gut by changing eating habits, working to rest the mind and introducing some basic but effective isometric exercise. All this will help to remedy irregular sleep patterns, anxiety, irritability and weight gain. Symptoms like hot flushes and night sweats begin to disappear.
Once I’ve started a client on my Kickstart Programme, with all my deliciously healthy tailor-made recipes, their body soon begins to produce new hormone receptors that speed up the metabolic rate. And all those hormones quickly stabilise.
